It’s A Blog-Eat-Blog World

4 May

Our Magworld Magazine website has officially launched!

It’s been a long time coming. Please take the time to read the articles, check out the pictures, audio, and video and appreciate all the hard work our talented team has put into our magazine.

Here’s a link to my article on the relevance of blogging for magazine publications. It includes a video interview with Todd Harrison of Spacing Magazine.

And most importantly, spread the word!!!! Share the link to the site / my article with everyone that you know. We are a tiny magazine and would love for a ton of eyes to read, hear, and see what we’ve come up with.

Spacing And I

10 Apr

Back in the day, when I had long hair (a couple months ag0), I interviewed Todd Harrison from Spacing Magazine for the website of the mag I’m editing (link coming soon). It has since been posted on the website, so I figured I would throw it on my blog as well in case you were interested in it.

Spacing is a urban-issues magazine based in Toronto. Though its print magazine is based out of Toronto, it runs blogs for a number of other Canadian cities. The scope of their popularity exists in both print and online, which makes them really unique. I interviewed Harrison on the significance of blogging and how that fits into the Spacing mantra.
