Palin On FOX: 5 Better Alternatives

12 Jan

Fox news’ dumbest yet most predictable move towards the complete obliteration of journalistic integrity comes with their decision to feature former Alaskan governor and VP candidate Sarah Palin as a regular contributor on the ‘news’ network.

Here are five smarter decisions Fox should have made instead:

5. hiring a monkey as a contributor. The Japanese do this often and it would not ruin the ‘integrity’ of Fox news in the least. Heck, it would probably heighten it. At least monkeys don’t hold opinions.

4. Shut down the network – probably the most logical decision. It would solve many of the world’s problems though nationwide panic may ensue when people are not told how to think.

3. Creating a Republican celebrity fight club style show and pit Sarah Palin against Ann Coulter and Carrie Prejean. They can use their fine collection of weaponry (I assume all three have a large collection of rifles) if they so desire.

2. Switch the cast of Fox news with Sesame Street puppets. At least they’ll talk on the same intellectual level as the Fox news audience.

1. …. Just don’t hire her?

Hmmm…Fox News creates controversy over hiring highly paid skirt; a change from their usual hiring of those who hike their skirts. Could it be that they intend to enrage critics to make them comment on the show. Any publicity is good publicity and with Fox’s budget they could use the free advertising.

True. I doubt my blog caters to the republican / conservative crowd though.

I’ll give them free advertising on account for me being able to poke fun at their child-play
