10. Appoint a subway car to be the “party car” that is decorated in a different theme every week. Everyone will want a ride on the party car, trust me.

9. No pants subway ride would be once a month.

8. Find private investors. I know selling the TTC off is a scary thought, but it could work if it was heavily regulated.

7. Implement an actual customer service program.

Dear Diary,

It’s been a while since my last entry. I’ve been adjusting to the winter morning commute. Luckily there hasn’t been enough snow to freak out the bus system and drive it into a frenzy, but I wouldn’t put it past them.

TTC Diaries: Virus

Dear Diary,

Adam Giambrone, Chair of the Toronto Transit Commission came to Humber on Wednesday. I think that Twitter virus he got was really taking a toll on his health. He sounded like he had a cold and hadn’t slept for days. I hope he’s alright.

Anyways, diary, he was asked about Transit City and it turns out, at least some of it will be completed for 2015, just in time for the Pan Am games. I figured it would take at least a decade for construction but nay, the games are pushing things forward.

In terms of fare increase, he said it was either that or limiting service so quit your bitching and pay the extra 25 cents (not his words).

At least university and college students can pay high school student prices come September 2010. Too bad it’s 9 months after all of the other fare increases are implemented. Sigh.

In other news, the bus smelt just fine this week thank you. I guess my pleas were heard.
